<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retard congestion in a communication relay device connected with a plurality of communication lines of different communication bandwidth. <P>SOLUTION: The communication relay device having a plurality of communication ports comprises a communication relay section for transmitting communication data received from a transmission side device through at least one reception side port to a reception side device through a transmission side port, a buffer for storing communication data being transmitted through a transmission side port, a section for transmitting a control signal indicating that entry of the buffer is free to the transmission side device at a predetermined transmission interval in response to transmission of the communication data from the buffer, a section for acquiring the bandwidth of a communication line connected with the transmission side port, and a section for controlling the transmission interval based on the bandwidth. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
