PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save electric power consumption of an image check sensor chip, miniaturize it, and reduce its cost. SOLUTION: In this image matching function-equipped slide type image sensor chip, a rectangular array sensor senses a finger sliding and passing through on it and obtains a fingerprint fragment analog signal, which is converted into an amplification signal by a gain adjustable amplifier. An analog/digital converter converts the amplification signal into a digital fingerprint fragment signal based on the sequence. An image matching module receives and processes two arbitrary adjacent digital fingerprint fragment signals continuously based on the sequence and outputs a plurality of fingerprint fragment images which are not continuously and mutually overlapped by input/output interface one by one. A control logic controls all the functional zone operation and connection. A terminal unit system receives the fingerprint fragment image and synthesizes one complete fingerprint image by stacking another side on a side of the fingerprint fragment image together by a block building method.
