PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management device for effectively managing document life cycles to allow for processing based on the document life cycles and access management. SOLUTION: The document management device comprises an electronic document editing means for processing relating to the creation and edition of electronic documents, a processing information acquiring means for acquiring processing information for electronic document editing means, a restricting information receiving means for receiving the input of restricting information for restricting the processing of the electronic documents, and an integrated electronic document generation means for attaching generation information including the processing information and the restricting information to the electronic documents to generate integrated electronic documents.
