PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the merchandise sample display device of a vending machine with satisfactory handleability for stably holding a sheet-shaped merchandise sample, and for easily performing its attachment/detachment operation. SOLUTION: A pair of right and left support guide bodies formed with grooves for supporting the both side edge sections of a sheet-shaped merchandise sample are protruded in parallel from the lower edge section to halfway section of the front surface of a sample display body whose front face is formed as the support face of the sheet-shaped merchandise sample, and a sheet-shaped merchandise sample insertion guide section whose back face side is formed with a curved concave surface is formed at the front face halfway section of the sample display body where the upper edge section of the support guide body is positioned. The front upper edge section of the sample display body is formed with a backward face forming a clearance with the upper edge section of the sheet-shaped merchandise sample.
