PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inducer device for a high speed pump, suppressing pressure vibration due to cavitation surge while maintaining the suction performance of the pump. SOLUTION: The inducer device for the high speed pump comprises an inducer body 22 arranged on the upstream side of a centrifugal impeller 10 of the centrifugal type high speed pump which applied pressure to liquid, and having a shaft portion 24 to be rotationally driven and a blade 26 spirally formed on the outer periphery thereof for giving pressure rise to the liquid to flow from the upstream side to the downstream side, and an inducer casing 21 encircling it. The inducer casing 21 has a portion 30 encircling the blade 26 of the inducer body 22 with a predetermined chip clearance, a diameter enlarged portion 32 continuously formed on the upstream side thereof and having an inner diameter larger than the inner diameter of the portion 30, and a stepped portion 34 continuously formed on the upstream side of the diameter enlarged portion 32 and having an inner diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the diameter enlarged portion 32 for preventing the occurrence of a back flow in the outer periphery of the blade 26 of the inducer body 22.
