摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of being generally known that a variation is caused in a control range for every completed fuel injection pump in many cases where a timer piston can not be accurately controlled, since a phase difference does not coincide with a target phase difference being a command value of a control means such as an ECM, since an error is actually caused when assembling respective parts of a fuel injection pump and a hydraulic timer unit, though the control range of the timer piston is determined in response to specifications such as an engine and the fuel injection pump and is predetermined in a development stage in response to the fuel injection timing determined by a camshaft and the control range of the phase difference. SOLUTION: An adjusting value D1 calculated and stored by the ECM 21 is a difference between an actual phase difference C calculated by the ECM 21 and a target phase difference being the command value of the ECM 21. Then, when a value of adding the adjusting value D1 to the actual phase difference C is defined as an actual phase difference G after being newly calibrated, the actual phase difference G coincides with the target phase difference being the command value of the ECM 21 after this calibration.
