PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit type building capable of diversifying the layouts of both a storage space to be formed below an intermediate floor part and a habitable room part to be formed above the intermediate floor part. SOLUTION: Some building units 43 and 44 among a plurality of building units 31-33 and 42-44 constituting the unit type building 1 are building units with a storage part and provided with the intermediate floor part 4B at a midpoint in columns 10; the storage space 207 below the intermediate floor part 4B; and the habitable room part 301 above the intermediate floor part. In the building units 43 and 44 with a storage part, a part of one column 10A among four columns located above intermediate floor parts 4B and 4D is cut out, and two ceiling beams each to be originally connected to the column 10A from which the part is cut out are cut out. It is therefore possible to arrange a plurality of the building units with a storage part side by side to form a continuous storage space 207 below adjacent intermediate floor parts and a continuous habitable part 301 above intermediate floor parts 4B and 4D.
