PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulky paper that can be used as printing paper, printing paper, and their coating paper through a paper producing method by positively introducing fine particle foams into pulp slurry. SOLUTION: In this method for producing the paper, the pulp slurry is allowed to include foams of an average particle size of 10 to 100μm into pulp slurry by using a continuous foaming apparatus. The foam content in the pulp slurry is 0.2 to 1.0%. The foaming method for the continuous foaming apparatus is the rotational flow type, the Venturi tube type, or the ejector type. The pulp slurry to be introduced into the continuous foaming apparatus has a solid component concentration of less than 2.0%. The paper-making white water is introduced so that the white water may include foam, then mixed with the pulp slurry. The foam-including pulp slurry is added to the back step of the paper-making dust-remover. The high bulky paper having a density of 0.45 to 0.80 g/cm<SP>3</SP>is produced by this method.
