<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner having simple construction with a separator which forms an air flow to be smoothly parted into the directions of an upward fan and a downward fan to increase the velocity of wind with less disturbance. <P>SOLUTION: The air-conditioner comprises a casing 1, an air inlet 2, a heat exchanger 13, an upward air outlet 3 and a downward air outlet 4, the upward fan 9 and the downward fan 10, an upward rear guider 14 and a downward rear guider 15, and the wavy separator 12 in an approximately W-shaped cross section. The wavy separator 12 has a central mountain portion 12c protruded in an approximately circular shape from a section central portion toward the front face and an upward valley portion 12b and a downward valley portion 12d recessed in an approximately circular shape ranging therefrom toward the back face. A lower edge 14a of the upward rear guider 14 is connected to an upper edge 12 of the upper valley portion 12b of the wavy separator 12, and an upper edge 15a of the downward rear guider 15 is connected to a lower edge 12e of the downward valley portion 12d of the wave separator 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
