<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio tag communication device which is capable of controlling and directing its communication directivity in an optimal direction independently of its attitude. <P>SOLUTION: The radio tag communication device 12 is equipped with a gravity sensor 62 and a geomagnetic sensor 64 which detect the attitudes of array antennas 36 and 40 on the basis of the prescribed coordinates, a transmission PAA wait control unit 34 and a receiving PAA wait control unit 54 which control the directivity of communication with the radio tag 14 corresponding to the attitudes detected by the gravity sensor 62 and the geomagnetic sensor 64, so that a main lobe can be kept in a prescribed direction even if the radio tag communication device 12 is varied in attitude. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
