Brazing material coating method and apparatus are provided to braze the tubular header and the mounting bracket without installing an additionally processed filler metal plate by transferring a tubular header or mounting bracket of a heat exchanger for vehicle using a conveyor, automatically coating a liquid phase brazing material on the tubular header or mounting bracket using nozzles, and drying the liquid phase brazing material coated on the tubular header or mounting bracket using a heater. A brazing material coating apparatus comprises: a case(110) having a ventilator(111) installed on an upper portion thereof, an inlet(112) formed at one side thereof, and an outlet formed on the other side thereof; a conveyor(120) which moves a tubular header or a mounting bracket from the inlet to the outlet of the case and has holders formed thereon to hold the tubular header or the mounting bracket; a spray part comprising nozzles(131) for spraying the brazing material, a pressurized container(134) in which a liquid phase brazing material(132) is contained, and which has a siphon(133) installed therein to supply the brazing material to the nozzles, and an air cutout valve(V) and an air pressure controller(P) installed at the other side of the nozzles; a pressurized container(134') which is additionally connected to the siphon(133) and has a siphon(133') installed therein to supply a volatile dilution solvent(132') contained in the pressurized container to the nozzles after spraying the brazing material; and a drying heater(140) formed in an outer upper part of the outlet of the case.
