PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object authentication method, an object authentication device, a cellular phone, and an object authentication program capable of excluding impersonation using a photograph without interfering with identification. SOLUTION: The object authentication device is provided with a photographing means for photographing an object, and it carries out authentication of the object on the basis of elements of a face of the object photographed by the photographing means. It is provided with an authenticity determining means for determining authenticity of photograph images of the object photographed by the photographing means on the basis of reflection images reflected in the eyes of the object.
