PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stable the operating time of an electromagnetic solenoid used for a power circuit breaker. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic solenoids 201, 202 comprise a pushing rod 304 which can move in the axial direction, and a plunger 303 mounted to this pushing rod. A core 301 provided with a hole at the center thereof is arranged adjacent to the plunger in the axial direction. A coil 302 is wound to the external circumference of the core. At the external circumferential side of the plunger, a first yoke 306 covering one end side of the coil is arranged. The core, plunger, and yoke form a magnetic circuit. A recessed region is formed to the external circumference of the plunger, and a projected region opposing to this recessed region with inclusion of a gap is formed to the yoke.
