PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat fixing member capable of efficiently supplying heat to a heating object (recording medium) in high-speed printing by improving heat conductivity in the thickness direction of an elastic layer of the heat fixing member, capable of ensuring high glossiness performance on a fixed image and capable of attaining uniform image performance by ensuring the sufficient flexibility of the elastic layer itself, and to provide a high-performance heat fixing apparatus capable of conducting sufficient heat to toner images even if the dwell time is shortened.
