PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a constant resolution by taking account of the state of an iris. SOLUTION: The device for image blur correction displaces the correction lens of a photographic optical system, thereby correcting a blur of an image formed by the photographic optical system of a camera. The image blur correction device includes a limiting means for limiting an amount of displacement of the correction lens of the photographic optical system to a predetermined range based upon the zoom position and iris position of the photographic optical system.
