The electrical lighting system is formed in the shape of icicles (2) and operates under an electrical light source and is connected to an electrical channel. The lighting system is made up of one lighting unit (1), preferably several lighting units. The lighting system may be built modular such that at the ends of the lighting units are mounting connections that enable one unit to be joined to another to form an electrical connection as part of a circuit.
