A chemically and physically stable, orally administrable aqueous pharmaceutical composition containing pregabalin is described. The liquid composition includes at least one preservative, at least one taste- masking agent, and an optional viscosity control agent. The liquid pharmaceutical composition has a pH of at least 5.5 but not greater than 7.0.
