A device, and a manufacturing process of said device, is provided that allows for treatment of wounds. The device comprises a nitric oxide (NO) eluting polymer arranged to contact the wound area to be treated, such that a therapeutic dose of nitric oxide is eluted from said nitric oxide eluting polymer to said wound area, thus promoting healing of a wound at said wound area.
