A method and an apparatus for removing a noise in measuring partial discharge of a super high-voltage cable are provided to enhance measurement accuracy of a discharge pattern by accurately discriminating the noise from the discharge pattern. An apparatus for removing a noise in measuring partial discharge of a super high-voltage cable includes at least one pair of first metal film sensors(3), a detector(5), a noise gate(6), and a partial discharge pattern analyzer(7). The first metal film sensors are formed at both sides of a power cable connecting box about an insulation barrel of the power cable connecting box. The detector is connected to the first metal film sensors and detects a partial discharge signal, which is generated inside the connecting box. The noise gate is connected to the detector. The partial discharge pattern analyzer is connected to the noise gate. A second metal film sensor(8), to which a ground cable is connected, is installed around a cable adjacent to the connecting box. A high frequency current sensor(9) is installed around the ground cable. A pulse shape analyzer(10) is connected between the high frequency current sensor and an input terminal of the noise gate. |
