A battery attachable apparatus in a portable terminal is provided to enable a stopping lever to limit the movement of a locking knob which combines a battery cover or the battery with a battery mounting unit, thereby intercepting sudden power supply and preventing work information from being lost by not freely separating the battery from the battery mounting unit. A case is formed to enable a battery mounting unit(22), on which a battery(24) is mounted, to be opened to the outside in the one side of a portable terminal. A locking knob(32) has a hanging projection(36), which is projected to the inside of the battery mounting unit(22), and enables the battery(24) to be fastened to the battery mounting unit(22), and is supported by an elastic member(34) to a direction in which the hanging projection(36) is hung on a part of the battery(24). A stopping lever(40) limits the movement of the locking knob(32) in a state that the hanging projection(36) of the locking knob(32) is hung on the part of the battery(24).
