<p>A cartridge case (1) is injection molded. A cartridge comprises a case which contains a cavity with a mouth in which a projectile is mounted. The cavity (10) is filled with an explosive such as gunpowder. An ignition cap is located on the outside of the case and is connected to a conduit (12) for directing an ignition flame into the cavity in order to detonate the explosive. The case is injection molded. An independent claim is also included for an injection molded case for practice or entertainment ammunition for a standard caliber weapon, preferably a hunting weapon, especially a shooting rifle. The case has a substantially rotation symmetrical outer surface and contains a cavity with a mouth in which a projectile is mounted. The cavity is filled with an explosive such as gunpowder. An ignition cap is secured to the outside of the case and is connected to a conduit for directing an ignition flame into the cavity in order to detonate the explosive.</p> |
