PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform improvement of efficiency of a power supply circuit and efficiency of a high frequency electric power amplifier. SOLUTION: An electric power amplifying device comprises an amplifier for amplifying electric power of input signal which is an amplitude modulated signal based on supplied power supply voltage, a plurality of fixed voltage power sources for generating respective values of different power supply voltages; a control signal generator for generating a control signal based on magnitude of an input signal; a power source changing switch for selecting one of the corresponding power supply voltages by switching the plurality of the fixed voltage power sources, based on the control signal of the control signal generator and for supplying the selected power supply voltage to the amplifier; and a capacitor to be discharged by one of the power supply voltages supplied to the amplifier and to be configured for providing the discharged voltage to the amplifier, at a time of short-off of supply of the power supply voltages accompanied with a switching operation of the power source changing switch.
