PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetation body for mosses simply greening by mosses, maintaining vegetation of the mosses for a long time by preventing releasing or falling down of the mosses against to the rain or wind by using the vegetation body for mosses obtained from fixing a three dimensional knit on a base member. SOLUTION: The vegetation body for mosses comprises a three dimensional knit 50 with air spaces in thickness direction and a base member 40 attached on the back side of the three dimensional knit to form air spaces for vegetation 54a in the back part closed by the base member. The three dimensional knit is composed of a front and a back two network knit parts 51, 52 wherein the net opening of the backside is located on a position staggered downward from the net opening of the front side and are connected by connecting threads 53, and the air spaces 54 surrounded by the connecting threads are formed as inclined downward from the front side to the backside.
