<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee reproduction of characters in document data independently of the sort of font data usable for a terminal device utilizing document data. <P>SOLUTION: A PDF file is stored in a first PDF file management area 13, the font program of characters used for the PDF file is stored in a font program management area 15, and when the PDF file is requested from a client terminal apparatus which is a request source, a control part 10 investigates the sort of font data usable for the request source, decides whether or not the font data used for the requested PDF file can be used at the request source. When it is decided that the font data can not be used, the control part 10 acquires the requested PDF file and font data to be used for the PDF file from the first PDF file management area 13 and the font program management area 15, embeds the font program in the acquired PDF file, and sends the font program-embedded PDF file to the request source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
