PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently secure the capacity of a cold storage tank and to eliminate the influence of high temperature on the cold storage tank. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner for the vehicle, a moisture absorption rotor 22 is rotatably arranged over an air introduction route 10 for introducing air into a cabin and a regeneration route 30 for discharging air to the outside of the vehicle. A cooling evaporator 23 in a heat pump type cooling device, an auxiliary heat exchanger 29 and a heating exchanger 24 circulated with engine cooling water are arranged in a downstream side of the moisture absorption rotor 22 on the air introduction route 10. Coolant in the cold storage tank 60 is cooled by an evaporator 61 for the cold storage tank in the heat pump type cooling device. The cold storage tank 60 and the auxiliary heat exchanger 29 are connected by passages 63, 64 as the coolant circulation route.
