<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pantagraph operation measuring device acquiring height and acceleration of a pantagraph one of electricity collectors, installed on the roof of electric railroad vehicles, with an easy formation, by eliminating effects of various structures near the pantagraph and of noises from swinging and the like during running of a train. <P>SOLUTION: The pantagraph operation measuring device with image processing derives the actual height and acceralation of pantagraphs (S6 and S9) from pantagraph tracking imagers. such that after a line sensor imager the imagers of pantagraph 1 shot by a line sensor 2 are juxtaposed in time sequence is modified with binarization processing (S2), a section having length is extracted within a limit established as a pantagraph section on the one line in order to leave either dot of the top edge or the bottom edge as a tracking of pantagraph (S3), and moreover both the noises occurring as a short dot sequence on the imagery by a filtering (S4) for pantagraph tracking trace and the noises occurring as a long dot sequence on the imagery by filtering (S5) for pantagraph single dot are cleaned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
