PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bad effect to the following picking operation even if a vacant bucket is left. SOLUTION: When a count means acquires that a bucket is vacant and a bucket detecting means detects that the vacant bucket 12 exists on a picking area 33, a control means instructs a stacker crane to cancel delivery of the bucket 12 assigned to be delivered to the picking area and to carry the bucket 12 to other picking area 33.
