PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel technology for steplessly adjusting the length, without reducing strength, in a telescopic pipe connection structure formed by slidingly fitting an inner pipe inside an outer pipe. SOLUTION: A pair of elongate holes 3 are oppositely formed in any one of the inner pipe 1 and the outer pipe 2, and a pair of through-holes 4 are oppositely formed in the other pipe. A nonrotatable nut 14 screwed with a screw shaft 5b of a fastening bolt 5 and a fastening pad 13 tiltably fitted around the screw shaft, are arranged inside the inner pipe. The inner pipe is brought into pressure contact with the outer pipe by rotating the fastening bolt in the fastening direction. When a load in the longitudinal direction is applied to the inner pipe, the fastening pad tilts, and increases pressure contact force, and checks its movement, and holds the predetermined length of the telescopic pipe.
