PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message image display apparatus which enables a user to grasp the content of each message image when the two or more message images are displayed.

SOLUTION: A display control section 76 makes a display section 82 display an image plane including the two or more message images. A judgment section 78 judges whether at least a part of the display of the message image is restricted by the other message image or not. A displaying period deciding section 84 decides the displaying periods of the individual two or more message images on the basis of the judgment result by the judgment section 78. The display control section 76 displays the individual two or more message images for the displaying periods of the message images decided by the display period deciding section 84.
