PAPER CUTTING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize enhancement of booklet cutting accuracy by preventing deviation of a position of a movable stopper for abutting a leading end of the booklet by vibration of other drive means at edges cutting treatment of the booklet.

SOLUTION: The paper cutting device is constituted by a motor M1 for driving conveying means 100, 200 for conveying the booklet SA; a motor M2 for driving the movable stopper 221 for stopping the booklet SA at a predetermined position; a motor M4 for driving a pressing member 240 for pressing the booklet SA; a motor M5 for driving a cutting means 300 for cutting the edges of the booklet SA; motors M6, M7 for driving a booklet storage means 400 for storing the cutting-treated booklet SA; and a control means 90 for controlling the respective motors. The control means 90 controls the motors of the means other than the cutting means 300 to non-operation when it drives the motor M5 of the cutting means 300.
