PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence labelling device of sugars capable of making the reaction operation of sugars to a pyridyl-aminated surgar chain simple and certain, and a fluorescence labeling method of sugars. SOLUTION: A first test tube 2 containing a sugar chain-containing sample dried by evaporation and a labelling agent solution 1a comprising a 2-aminopyridine/acetic acid solution are housed in a hermetically closable container 1 so as to be isolated from each other. The labelling agent solution 1a is heated to evaporate 2-aminopyridine and this evaporated 2-aminopyridine is brought into contact with the sugar chain to obtain the pyridyl-aminated sugar chain from the sugar chain.
