PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat which prevents a space inside a vehicle from getting small when a hanger is not used and avoids limiting the length of the clothes hung on a hanger to a height of a seat back. SOLUTION: The hanger 10, where the clothes is hung when the hanger 10 is in a protruding state and which is housed in the seat back 3 when the hanger 10 is setting state, is provided on the back surface 3a of the seat back 3 in a manner to rise and set vertically. Consequently, the vehicle seat avoids limiting the length of the clothes to the height of the seat back 3 by protruding the hanger 10 above the seat back 3. Meanwhile, the external appearance of the seat 1 is not spoiled by housing the hanger 10 in the seat back 3 when the hanger is not used. Moreover, the vehicle seat prevents the space inside the vehicle behind the seat back 3 from getting small since the seat back 3 need not be thick. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
