<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator unit, in which dispersion of water in the oxidant passage is promoted and water plugging in the oxidant passage is prevented in the fuel cell stack, by changing the numerical aperture of a current collector made of a porous body, and which has high power generation efficiency and high cooling capacity, using a stable operation. <P>SOLUTION: The separator unit is interposed between fuel cells, of which an electrolyte layer is interposed by a fuel electrode and an oxygen electrode, and comprises a separator body of plate-shape which shuts off a gas supplied to the fuel electrode and a gas supplied to the oxygen electrode; and a current collector which is installed on one side or both sides of a separator, has openings of mesh-shape, and radiates the heat generated in the fuel cells by abutting against the fuel electrode and the oxygen electrode.
