<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aromatic hydrocarbon in good selectivity and a large amount of yield by using a lower hydrocarbon as a raw material. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the aromatic hydrocarbon is to carry out a catalytic reaction by heating the lower hydrocarbon in the presence of a catalyst in which a molybdenum component, a rhenium component or a platinum component and a rhodium component in addition to those components are brought to be carried on a metallosilicate support modified with a silicon compound, a sodium compound or a potassium compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
