<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color illuminant for exposure which can reduce the unevenness of quantity of light, decrease the loss of quantity of light at correcting the unevenness of image of an exposure head and enhance the productivity in the color illuminant for the exposure head for writing full-color image on a photoconductor. <P>SOLUTION: The color illuminant makes a plurality of color light incident from both sides of a transparent rectangular object 11 one by one with shifting a time for every color by the light that is emitted from a LED point source while making the color light radiated from the undersurface of the transparent rectangular object. The arrangement of the LED point source of both sides of right and left is made so as to be nearly point-symmetric against the center of the transparent rectangular obstacle 11 for each of same color emitting LED point light sources 12, 13, 14 while the luminescence intensity of each color-light being made nearly same on both sides of right and left.
