The shaver can either be fitted with a specifically designed blade unit or used with a standard cartridge (1) with two blades (2). The front of the shaving unit (1) is positioned at a slight distance parallel to the longitudinal axis of the handle, which has a curved extension for holding the unit. The extension can be provided with movable joints (11) or with an off center positioned holding point (8). In one version the blade unit (1) is surrounded by a metal frame for a particularly flat design.
