Coin purse has a body (1) with cells for storage of individual denominations. The purse has a display that indicates the value of all the coins (5) stored in the purse and further display for indicating the value of coins removed from the purse. A computer and power supply are also provided. Each cell has a projection (13) that indicates the number and value of coins stored in it.
