<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting polynuclear rare earth complex having higher light emission intensity and higher heat resistance than ever. <P>SOLUTION: This polynuclear rare earth complex has two or more rare earth ions in one molecule. While a kind of the rare earth ion is out of the question, a green light-emitting material having heat resistance is obtainable from a nonanulear complex of Tb(III).
