PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic water generator which is maintained easily, and has a reduced frequency of adding an electrolysis aid, and a sink unit equipped with the generator. SOLUTION: The electrolytic water generator comprises an electrolytic cell which has electrode plates built in, and generates alkaline ion water and acidic ion water, and a faucet 8 to which a spout discharging the alkaline ion water and acidic ion water generated in the electrolytic cell is connected. The faucet 8 is equipped with an electrolysis aid-charging port 15. A storage part 17 for storing the electrolysis aid charged from the electrolysis aid-charging port 15 is installed at a prescribed place on the lower surface of a sink 1 in which the faucet 8 is disposed. A raw water feed passage connecting the electrolysis aid storage part 17 and the electrolysis aid-charging port installed in the faucet 8, and a water supply pipe for supplying the raw water, to which the electrolysis aid has been added, to an electrolysis part are installed.
