PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an extruded foam having low hygroscopicity and improved dielectric characteristic such as tanδ, etc.

SOLUTION: The method for producing an extruded foam comprises mixing 100 parts by mass of a polyethylene-based resin with azodicarbonamide (ADCA) of a blowing agent and a proper amount of 5-15% by mass based on the blowing agent of a zinc compound as a foaming auxiliary and extrusion-foaming the mixture at 200-240°C.
