PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door device for an elevator capable of easily reversing a hall door and a car door during a door-closing operation. SOLUTION: This door device for an elevator is provided with: the hall door 5 for opening and closing a hall doorway formed in an elevator hall 1; a car door 6 for opening and closing a car doorway formed in the car of the elevator; safety devices arranged over the upper and lower parts of doorway-side ends of the hall door 5 or the car door 6 for reversing the hall door 5 and the car door 6 during a door closing operation by detecting an obstacle hindering the door closing operation of the hall door 5 and the car door 6; touch sensor parts s 5a, 6a and 10a respectively arranged in predetermined ranges at the respective doorway-side ends of the hall door 5 and the car door 6 allowing an elevator user to easily reach them; and a control means for reversing the hall door 5 and the car door 6 during the door closing operation when the touch sensor parts 5a, 6a or 10a detect the touch of the elevator user.
