PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saw for cutting a metal with small cutting resistance, and a tooth thereof. SOLUTION: A central part in a tooth width direction of a cutting face 9 of the tooth 4 is made to a flat surface 9a parallel to a line X in the tooth width direction perpendicular to a center line in the tooth width direction and both sides in the tooth width direction of the flat surface 9a are made to inclined surfaces 9a, 9b inclined relative to the line in the tooth width direction. Both edges in the tooth width direction of a tip of the tooth 4 are chamfered to provide chamfered surfaces 10, 10. A cutting blade 8 is made to a constitution having a straight blade by the flat surface 9a and a chamfering blade by the chamfered surfaces 10, 10.
