PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diamond brazed tool having a long life, good sharpness and high working accuracy by fixing a crystal surface of diamond crystal grain to a fitting surface having a predetermined angle by brazing so that the ridge shared by a plurality of crystal surfaces of diamond is projected to the nearest position to a material to be cut. SOLUTION: The fitting surface 12 formed on a base metal 11 of the diamond brazed tool 10 has a predetermined angle 17 to the advancing direction of the base metal 11, an adhesive is coated on the fitting surface 12, and a plurality of diamond crystal grains 13 and brazing filler metal 15 are sprayed or injected. The brazing filler metal 15 is fused by the action of brazing heat so that the crystal surface 13a of the diamond crystal grain 13 is fixed parallel to the fitting surface 12. The ridge (the projecting part) 13c on the crystal surface 13b located at the symmetrical azimuth with the fixed crystal surface 13a is located at the nearest position to the material 16 to be cut, and working is performed with the ridge (the projecting part) 13c always in contact with the material 16 to be cut.
