<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase acceptable orders for products while reducing the stock of parts. <P>SOLUTION: An order placement/acceptance system has a part order placement management section 11 and order acceptance management section 12, and a data storage section 13 referred to by the management sections 11 and 12. In the order acceptance management section 12, an option categorization section 114 classifies parts used in a plurality of types of products into common parts and option parts according to bill-of-material data in the data storage part, and an MRP development section 113 calculates the units of common parts and option parts necessary for production as order data according to planned sales units of the plurality of types of products and the bill-of-material data. An order unit addition section 116 adds units correlating with past accepted orders for each product to the units of option parts in the order data, and a material order placement section 117, when receiving a reply of delivery units of common parts and option parts, adds the delivery units to stock data.
