PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ear clinical thermometer, capable of ensuring accuracy within a wide environmental temperature range, by eliminating the influence due to short-term environmental temperature variation, eliminating work for calibration or permitting calibration extremely simplified than that of a thermopile system, and having indication without fluctuations due to the influence of the environmental temperature. SOLUTION: In a probe 20 of the ear clinical thermometer, a resin-made second high heat insulation member 220 is connected to the tip of a resin-made first heat insulating member 210 by a conventional connection means. The second high heat insulation member 220 is tapered, and a recessed surface 221 is formed at the tip. A protective cover 230 covers the first heat insulating member 210 and the second high heat insulation member 220. A thermistor lead thin line 240 is embedded in the first heat insulating member 210 and the second high heat insulation member 220. A tip-folding 241 is exposed at the recessed surface 221 of the second high heat insulation member 220 so as to be stretched. An ultra high-speed response thermistor 250 is mounted at approximately the center of the tip-folding part 241 of the thermistor lead thin line 240. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
