PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box for a linear body usable as a device for delivering the linear body from a bobbin with the bobbin having the linear body wound thereon stored therein, and capable of avoiding deformation or the like before delivering the linear body, and of surely providing smooth delivery work. SOLUTION: This application provides this packing box 1 for a linear body which is so structured perforations 6 for forming shaft reception holes for inserting support rods therethrough are formed in a pair of side wall parts 2a and 2c of a rectangular frame-like box body part 2 facing to each other; the bobbin 12 with the linear body wound thereon can be rotatably supported on the plurality of support rods mounted by inserting them into the shaft reception holes formed by breaking the perforations 6; and thereby the packing box can be used for delivering the linear body.
