PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quality string end stopper capable of precisely fixing the string ends by effectively gripping end parts of two elastic codes. SOLUTION: The string end stopper consists of a resin lock main body 1 and a cover body 2. The lock main body 1 consists of a front wall 5, a rear wall 6, side walls 7 and a top part 8. The front wall 5 and the rear wall 6 are divided in a vertical direction with remaining the top part 8 and both side walls 7 are formed in an elastically deformable manner. A V-shape groove part 11 is provided on a lower end of a bent part 10 provided on the both side walls 7. A deep part 12 of the groove part 11 is formed in a steep inclination to grip an insertion string 3 such as a rubber string in a biting condition even if the same is inserted in a U-shape and diameter thereof is shrank. The cover body 2 consists of a cylindrical part 20 and a bottom part 21 for fitting the lock main body 1. The cover body 2 can lock the lock main body 1. A projection part 422 projecting with opposing to the bent part 10 is provided on a low part 21 and the insertion string 3 gripped in the bent part 10 is always pressed to prevent slackness of the insertion string 3.
