PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milling cutter, easily adjusting the position of an insert while the cutting edge angle of a sub-cutting edge is kept constant to attain high run-out accuracy of the cutting edge. SOLUTION: In this milling cutter 31, the insert 51 having a cutting edge is mounted on the outer periphery of the tip part of a disk-like tool body 32. At least a guide part extending in the axial direction of the tool body 32 is formed on a mounting seat 35, and on the other hand, a guided part to which the guide part is fitted to slide in the extending direction is formed on the seated surface of the insert 51. The tool body 32 is provided with a cutout part 38 opened to the wall surface intersecting the extending direction of the guide part. An adjusting piece 41 is inserted in the cutout part 38, an adjusting screw 46 is inserted in the inner peripheral part of the adjusting piece 41, and at least either the inner peripheral surface of the adjusting piece 41 or the adjusting screw 46 is provided with an enlarged diameter part gradually increasing in diameter as it goes toward the outside of the adjusting piece 41.
