<p>A slide glass carrier capable of taking out slide glasses from the inside of a slide glass cassette and securely carrying them to a prescribed position by a simple structure. The slide glass carrier comprises at least a drawing hand having, at its tip, a projection for hooking the slide glasses thereto, a drive mechanism, and a positioning guide having a tapered lead-in part at a position to which the taken-out slide glass advances. The drive mechanism performs a series of operations comprising the advancing, rising, and retreating of the drawing hand. By the series of operations, the slide glasses to be taken out are placed one by one on the drawing hand. In this case, the slide glasses placed on the drawing hand are pulled out in the abutted state of the projection of the drawing hand on its side face. Accordingly, the end part of the drawing hand positioned at the tip of the slide glass is pushed into the tapered lead-in part of the positioning guide according to the retreating operation of the drawing hand. As a result, the taken-out slide glass is smoothly led to the guide rail of the positioning guide along both side faces thereof.</p> |
