PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize proper reading by preventing to the extent possible the deterioration of the converging ratio of a converging lens with respect to a light receiving element at the peripheral part of a sensor in an optical information reading device equipped with an optical sensor having a converging lens for each light receiving element. SOLUTION: A diaphragm is arranged before an image forming lens so that a reflected light can be made incident on the image forming lens after passing through the diaphragm. When the diaphragm is arranged before the image forming lens constituted of plural lens (b), an optical distance from an optical sensor to the diaphragm is made relatively larger, and an outgoing pupil distance is made longer according to this than in a case when the diaphragm is interposed between the plural lens of the image forming lens (a). Thus, the diaphragm is arranged like this way so that the distance from the optical sensor to the outgoing pupil position can be set relatively long, the level of the inclination of the reflected light made incident on the light receiving element at the peripheral part of the sensor can be made small, and the deterioration of the converging ratio of the converging lens can be prevented. |
